What is your approach to branding and web design?

TL;DR

Our approach combines strategy, storytelling, and design execution. We focus on clarity first, then build visual systems and websites that support growth and performance.

Ander.Agency’s approach starts with a simple idea: before designing, we need to know what has to be clear. Strategy defines the message, hierarchy and design decisions. Then come the identity, the website, the components and the implementation. The order matters because a good looking site with a weak message is still a weak site.

Strategy decides what to say before opening Figma

We work with a strategy first logic. That means we do not treat branding as an aesthetic layer or the website as an expensive brochure. The brand has to explain why you exist, who you are relevant to, what problem you solve and why someone should trust you. Only then does it make sense to turn that into a visual system.

In branding projects, that can include positioning, messaging, identity, brand guidelines, templates and applications. What your eyes see is the tip of the brand iceberg. Below the surface are the decisions that make that expression make sense.

A B2B website has to sell before it impresses

In web design, the question is not whether the page looks modern. The question is whether a prospect quickly understands what you offer, why it matters and what they should do next. Donald Miller calls this the grunt test: if someone looks at your header for five seconds and cannot explain it, you lost them.

  • Message clarity: headlines, subheads and structure should reduce friction, not add poetry.
  • Site architecture: pages should support how a B2B buyer makes decisions.
  • Visual system: the identity has to be recognizable, usable and consistent.
  • Implementation: the site has to stay editable and organized for your team.

Design, content and development move together

In web design, we work through discovery, exploration, design and implementation phases. Splitting strategy, copy, design and development into silos usually creates rework. Same craft, different discipline.

Before designing the system, we need to understand which problem it has to solve.

“Through user research, wireframes and prototypes they designed the UX/UI of our product, and their work increased user satisfaction and conversions.”

Alberto Pardo Saleme, CEO, Engeni

If the process starts by talking only about colors and visual references, you are probably hiring execution, not judgment.
